Paul was born in rural Guyana on June 3rd, 1950. He began working at age 15 to support his family and continued to work until 2022-a total of 57 years. At age 25 Paul and Lita were married (1975). Paul then started his career as a diesel/gasoline mechanic and went on to become a Master ASE mechanic with dozens of certifications.
In 1983, Paul and Lita left Guyana and emigrated to the United States for a better life. Paul retired from Ford Motor Company-Heavy Truck Division in 2010 after completing 20 years as a diesel mechanic, then relocated to Florida and completed an additional 11 years at CH Bus Sales/Temsa. While not working at the dealership, Paul worked on repairing and rebuilding hundreds of cars at home for friends and family.
Paul and the Ramnarine family spent much of their time in church. Paul served as the church bus mechanic and a bus driver, often working on the busses and vans on Saturdays and driving the bus on Sundays to make sure that anyone who did not have transportation to church could get there.
Paul and Lita enjoyed traveling, often taking trips around the country (and a few abroad), helping fellow church members with meals, and buying and selling vehicles from Craigslist.
Paul was a doting grandfather to his 4 grandchildren, often buying them gifts and spending time with them on the weekends when family would visit for Sunday lunch.
Paul is survived by his wife (Lita) of nearly 49 years, their five children, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, four grandchildren, and several extended family members.
Paul was laid to rest on December 28th, 2023 at a private burial in Winter Haven, Florida
