Peggy Ann Bennett, 68, of Eagle Lake, FL passed away on June 5, 2022. She was born on January 24, 1954 in Bernalillo, New Mexico and moved to this area 50 years ago. She had worked as a nurse and was of the Catholic faith.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father James Gibbs and step mom Peggy Gibbs, and her mother, Rose Marie Baca. She is survived by her husband, Will Bennett of Eagle Lake, FL, brother, Raymond Gibbs of Worchester, MA, children, James Haroon of Land O’ Lakes, FL, Shauna Hryhorash of Orlando, FL, and Brian Cassista of Tampa, FL, aunt, Dot Wenz of South Hampton, NH, and step sons, Tony Bennett of Siesta Key, FL, Terry Bennett of Port Richie, FL, Stacy Bennett of Tampa, FL, and Jason Bennett of Winter Haven, FL.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, from 10-11 am with a service following at 11 am. Both will be held at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven, FL.
