

He was born in Cookeville, TN on August 4, 1925. After his tour in the Army, Ralph attended Florida College in Tampa, FL to become a gospel minister with the Church of Christ for thirty years before retirement. He served congregations in several states including Indiana, Georgia, Ohio and Florida. He and his wife settled in Winter Haven to be close to their family.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Mildred (Millie) Herren Gentry spending 72 years of marriage together.
Surviving is their daughter, Carol Gentry Race (Joe, Sr.) and sister Anna Rose Malone Vaughn (Charlie) along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, R. Daryl Gentry and brother,
Carl V. Gentry.
