WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Thomas Stidham, age 82, of Winter Haven, died on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 due to respiratory failure.
He was born on March 27, 1928 in Norton, VA to the late Jasper and Flora Stidham. He was a machinist for Gulf Machinery prior to which he worked several years in the coal mines. He was a member of the Riverhills Fellowship Church in Dundee.
Mr. Stidham is survived by his wife of 34 years, Marie S. Stidham, sons Thomas Grover (Jan) Stidham, Jacksonville, Ronnie Mitchell (Sadie) Stidham, Polk City, and Charles Steven Stidham, Lake City, daughters Sharlene Stidham (Rick) McCarter, Winter Haven, Deborah Ann Hernandez, Wauchula, Gail Colleen (Wallace Dale) Bowman, Tampa, and Carlena Jeanette Stidham, Winter Haven, sixteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, August 6, 2010 from 6-8pm at Ott-Laughlin @ Glen Abbey. Funeral Services are Saturday at 2:00 pm at the funeral home chapel. Condolences may be sent at
