William Howard Dickenson

Mr. William “Bill” H. Dickenson, 71, died Monday, February 03, 2020 in Lakeland, Florida. He was born on Sunday, May 02, 1948 in Norton, Virginia the son of Billy L. Dickenson and Alice Loretta Maggard.

Bill served his country in the United Stated Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd Class and after his service; he worked as a pipe fitter/iron worker in the nuclear power field. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Clintwood, Virginia and moved to Lake Wales, Florida where spent the rest of his days.

Preceded in death by his parent’s father Billy L. Dickenson; Mother Alice Loretta Maggard; son James C. Dickenson; daughter Felicia L. Dickenson; brother Eddie J Dickenson; and Dallas the wonder dog.

Bill leaves behind a wonderful wife Marian Dickenson, Lake Wales, FL. Children Roy Dickenson (Daphne), Eagle Rock, VA. Tammy Dickenson, Greensboro, NC. Heather Carballo (Lacho), Taylorsville, NC. Christopher Eubanks, Lake Wales, FL. Grandchildren Breanna and Felicia Dickenson, Lake Wales, FL. Megan (Leon), Will, Alex, Celina, Ashley, James, Roy Jr., Tiffany, Wesley, Riley, and Wyatt. 8 great grandchildren. Sisters Rosa Lee (William), Tamra Keeth (Willis), and Melissa Cupit (Ron), and many dearly beloved nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 2:00pm at Dickenson Family Cemetery 8233 Sawmill Hollow Rd, Pound, VA. 24279.
