"On September 30th at 4:58pm, little Alcina Anya Martin left this world no longer bound by hospital machines. She was surrounded by the nurses who cared for her and the friends who knew her from conception, and she passed in the arms of her mommy and daddy while they read her a bedtime story. She listened to the song "Ashes of Dreams" from the NieR series, one of the first songs she heard in the womb, before drifting off to sleep in the loving embrace of her parents, feeling their skin for the first time. Her friends told her stories about her parents competing in competitive gaming tournaments, and how they all traveled as a family across the country. Many were sad that they couldn't meet the person they all knew she would have grown up to be.
