Barbara Gaines McMahan

Barbara Gaines McMahan, 82, passed away peacefully at home in Winter Park on November 17, 2019 surrounded by her family including her husband of 62 years, Robert. She was born in 1937 to Jeffery and Frances Gaines of Fitzgerald, Georgia, where she also met and married her future husband in 1956. She is preceded in death by her father, her mother, as well as her brothers Carl, Jack, and Donald. She will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched. She is survived by her husband, Robert, her son Bob, her daughter-in-law, Karen, and her two grandsons, Robert and James. She will be remembered for many wonderful things, but particularly for her graciousness, her strength, her grace, and her love of her family. In keeping with her wishes, her family and friends will honor her privately at a graveside service on November 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM, Palm Cemetery, Winter Park.
