I've long moved away from Florida and it's been quite a few years since I last saw Dr. Mella- but I never forgot him and won't. He was the best physician I've ever seen, a wonderful, funny, caring person. He'll be greatly missed.

He treated me like a son 😪😭😭😭

He took care of my mom and and my sisters and my brother for many yrs. He was funny,nice,and right in spot about what we had. I wish I can find a Doctor that is just like him. Sorry to se you go sir  i know when i go he will be there to fix me up again.

 We just found out that Dr. Mella  passed away. Our hearts are broken, we loved him to the moon and back, he was my doctor for 45 years, my friend, part of our family.  We tried to check on him many times and we will miss him so very very much. Our prayers will continue for the family, for all his patients that he treated like family and for the dear people who worked with him for so very long and loved him as well. 

I feel so sad to just now hear this.  He rocked. He took care of my parents, me and my children.  We loved him and thought he was so thoughtful in his treatment of us.  He actually cared about his patients.  Always telling me to walk and stretch and not willing to just medicate my issues.  He cared.  
I feel the loss.  God speed Mella.   

I was so sad to hear of Dr. Mella's passing.  I kept checking in every few months to see if he was back from his medical leave.  I'm sorry I did not hear in time to show my respect. I was moved to write this for his loved ones because he was such a wonderful man.  I had gone to him for appx. 20 years as a patient.  He was an amazing Doctor.  He had the presence of a calm and wise leader.   I always looked forward to being around him.  He had such a gift.  I remember a story he told me of how he used to practice martial arts and trained under a certain man, forget the name, and I think this man trained him in Okinawa.  It was a very interesting story and I knew then that this humble man in front of me was a mystery that had many hidden treasures inside.  My deepest condolences go out to his family.  I'm sure there is a great hole in their hearts.  All my best to you Dr. Mella.  (I didn't realize we shared the same birth day.  How did I not know that all these years.  My loss.)  Take care.

So saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Mella. 
Was always my favorite doctor to see for the past 20 plus years.  Was like going to visit a good friend instead of going to the doctor. Always entered the room with open arms & a hug, with his great smile always.
Such a caring & compassionate man. They just don't make doctors like Dr.Mella anymore!😢 I will forever miss you Dr. Mella. You were so kind & caring to me with a listening ear whenever i lost my brother 4 years ago.

I am so very sad to hear of Dr. Mella’s passing.  My heartfelt sympathies to his family, and close friends.  He treated my father for 30 years, and me for 15.  Dr. Mella was clever, funny, thoughtful, and spot on with his craft.  He was a cheerleader for me during the tough years after my Dad passed.  He was so proud of and loved his family so much.  Dr. Mella was a champion hug giver too.  Quietly intelligent, and easy to laugh and smile.  I’ll miss him, and remember him always.

Your unselfish  help, readiness to care and advices is inevitable that comes so handy in my life that I will miss every bit of it. You’re a wonderful man, meek and humble always throughout your life which I will remember, and will now be treasured in memories. Thank you so much!

 I was so saddened to hear of Dr. Mella's passing. Our family went to him for over 30 years. He was always spot on with his diagnosis. What a gentle, kind, humble, intelligent man he was. Dr. Mella has been my family's physician for over 25 years and he was much more than a wonderful doctor he was compassionent and comforting. He will truly be missed.
