He was born on December 28,1959 in Muncie, Indiana to James and Jane (Harrington) Martin.
Daniel spent his childhood years in Muncie before moving to Winter Park where he attended
Winter Park High School. After high school he served in the US Army and was stationed in
Wiesbaden, Germany. After returning from the service Daniel divided most of his time between
Central Florida, where he attended Seminole Community College, and Mt Sterling, Kentucky to
be near his father.
During his childhood, Daniel was a scout, enjoyed bowling, skating, and his greatest passion
was reading. His passion for reading, particularly histories and biographies, continued
throughout his life along with a love of the lakes and beaches of Florida. He worked as a
carpenter and handyman, a job well suited to him since his greatest joy was helping others.
Danny to family and Dan to friends, he was a man of faith who will be remembered for his big
heart and gentle spirit.

Jeger, his stepmother, Frankie Martin, and his grandparents, Frances (Bible) and J.C.
