Edith Josephine Dinnan

Edith Josephine Dinnan, age 93, of Christmas, Florida passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025. She was born in New York, New York on December 3, 1931 to Vito and Paolina Verni. She was married to John "Jack" Dinnan on April 18, 1953.

Edith had a passion for baking, sewing, crafts, bowling, and exercising. One of her largest passions was helping others, which was demonstrated greatly by her immense volunteer work for the PTA, Meals on Wheels, local hospitals, and other organizations. Family was an extremely important part of her life that she dedicated years of her life to caring for them. The home she shared with Jack was one of many get-togethers and festive parties. She was also a member of a local bowling league that she greatly enjoyed.

Edith is preceded in death by John Joseph Dinnan, Helen Dinnan Creach, and Seth Dinnan. She is survived by her children, Alan Dinnan, Richard Dinnan, Eileen Dinnan, and Karen (Dinnan) Whatley; grandchildren, Jimmy Dinnan, Blake Dinnan, Erica Dinnan, Rae Cox, Scott Dinnan, Christopher Dinnan, Heather Thomas, Cassie Jacobe Hart, Zachary Whatley, Hannah (Whatley) Dreggors; great-grandchildren, Cody Dinnan, Christopher Grant, Haylie Dinnan, Hannah Dinnan, Hayden Dinnan, Ashlyn Dinnan, Emelia Cox, Jackson Dinnan, Hope Dinnan, Carson Dinnan, Allison Dinnan, Caleigh Hernandez, Triston Murray, Billy Jacobe, and Tanner Dreggors; and great-great-grandchild, Lily Thomas.

A visitation for Edith will be held Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792 followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. A committal service will occur Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789. A catered reception will occur Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 1:15 PM to 3:15 PM, 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL 32792.
