Eugene Irwin Ritz, age 80, of Oviedo passed away Sunday Feb. 8. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio and served six years in the Navy. Gene was preceded in death by his wife Dolores. He is survived by his partner Wanda Miller, daughter Karen (Cal) Quesenbury, grandsons Jacob, Caleb and Ethan, son Edward Ritz and his girlfriend Kim Miller. A resident of Palm Valley since 1998, Gene amazed friends and neighbors with his unparalleled dancing skills and his mastery of all card games. Most of all he will be remembered for his kind heart, loving spirit and will be desperately missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. We will miss him terribly until the day we see him again in heaven. A memorial service will be held Friday Feb. 13th at 1:30 pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel in Winter Park.
