Memorial services for Mr. Jay G. Padgett Sr., age 69, of Orlando, who passed onto God on Saturday, Nov. 6th. 2010, will be held at 6PM, Wed. Nov. 10th. 2010 at Carey Hand Cox-Parker Funeral Home in Winter Park. Mr. Padgett was born November 28, 1940 in Camden, New Jersey to parents Harley & Edith Padgett. Jay Padgett Sr. served in the U.S. Navy and the Air Force. Jay was a professional Law Enforcement Officer for 40 years, serving Camden, N.J., Collingswood, N.J., Washington Township, N.J., The University of Florida & retired from the University of Central Florida Police Dept. as a Detective/Sgt. Jay Padgett Sr. is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Arlene, daughters Terri Turner & Nancy Padgett and son Jay Padgett Jr. all of Orlando. Grandchildren Meagan Padgett, Brittni Turner, Brandon Turner, and Ashlynn Padgett. Jay Sr. loved his family and friends, and his God given law enforcement profession, motor home, travel, & his community.
