

Joe was a researcher for Gillette before retiring and a member of St.Peters Episcopal Church. Prior to his work at Gillette, Joe was a decorated United States Naval Veteran, serving as a Chief Medical Corpsman in both WWII and The Korean War.
Along with his accomplished military career, Joe was also an active member in the Freemason Society and was recently honored by the Masonic Lodge #62 for his 60 years as a Mason.
Joe is survived by his three children, Elizabeth Lane Benitez, Julia Lee Fowler and William Morgan Fowler, and his granddaughter Alyssa Nicole Benitez.
Joe will be honored on June 1, 2012 at 1pm at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 700 Rinehart Road, Lake Mary, FL 32746.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Grace Alexander Foundation, 1223 E. Concord St. , Orlando, FL 32803.
Joe was a gentle spirit who touched the lives of many throughout the community. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Grace, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
