Our deepest sympathy and condolences.   We were customers for 25 years.  Living near the shop we dropped in for chats often.  We miss both John and Alan. Well done.

John Santo was certainly one of a kind.  It would be Impossible for him not to make an impact and influence anyone who came in contact with him.  Of course, as we all know, his sense of humor was indeed second to none.  He was an exceptional friend and will be greatly missed.

Sorry for your loss. John was a great guy and I have many fond memories that go as far back as I can remember. John was a lot of things to a lot of different people. He was Someone that you could count on, a friendly conversation, help on race car knowledge, or just some plain old advice. 
He definitely left his mark on this world.

I had some fun times hanging out at the shop with my dad, John & Hippie plus watching John race at New Smyrna.  They turned me into a muscle car lover forever.  He was a good man and I treasure the memories.  My thoughts and prayers to you Toni, Debbie and Cindy.

Although It has been years since visiting the shop, John was well respected as a business owner, maintaining the highest quality of work and never disappointing, a rarity these days. John is a legend in his trade. To John's wife, family and friends, I am deeply sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. Hippie, John was blessed to have you to rely on for so many years.

It is with great sadness to hear of John's passing.  As a former business owner of 41 years in the Ivanhoe area (Orlando Auto Upholstery) John and Allen were well known for their expertise and work ethic in vehicle repair. It was always a pleasure to do business with him and what a witty guy!  He reminded me of my late husband, Wiley Fox, who thought the world of John.

We are so saddened by the loss of John. He was so special and funny and very caring. Dave and Holden loved Thursday night at the shop and their family there.  He, Hip, and Darrell had a big influence on Holden and he has many fond memories.  He loved his family and friends fiercely.  Prayers for peace and healing to all family and friends. When "the shop" closed, it was not just the end of a business, but the loss of a social gathering place for many of us, to share thoughts, friendships, fellowship and escape some of life's pressures. When it closed, we assumed we might still have the occasional gathering, simply in a different place. With the loss of John, there is now a huge void in all of our hearts. Our prayers and thoughts are with Toni, Debbie, Cindy their families, Hippie and Peggy. As empty as I feel, I can't imagine the loss you feel.
