Michael graduated from the University of Central Florida and received a BSBA from UCF. Michael was married to Amy Catherine Hassell on May 30, 1987.
He had a career in Computer Sciences for Valencia College as a Sr. Software Developer. Michael also served in the United States Army.
Michael had a passion and love for his family, music, sports (golf and basketball), anything outdoors and gardening.
He is preceded in death by Dean Reid Calvin, Betty J. Calvin and his daughter, Rachel Ann Calvin.
Michael is survived by his wife Amy Catherine Hassell Calvin, children, Emma Lynn Calvin, Gena Catherine Calvin (Andres Martinez), and son from prior marriage, Jeffrey Michael Calvin.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, Goldenrod Chapel, 7520 Aloma Ave., Winter Park, FL. with services following at 1:30 pm. Committal service will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park at 3 pm.
