Nora Jean Sourant, age 81 of Cassadaga, passed away April 5, 2011. She was born August 26, 1929 in Caraway, Arkansas to Walter and Mildred Smothers. Nora was a great advocate for the underdog and children in need. She was an active member of Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp and a former Eastern Star. Nora is survived by her husband, Nick; son, Don Roberts; daughter Bonita Montalvo; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Otis”Dub” and Walter; sister, Darlene. A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2pm at the Colby Memorial Temple in Cassadaga, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Nora to The Russell Home for Atypical Children, 510 W. Holden Avenue, Orlando, FL 32839.
