Mrs. Obdulia Alexandrino “Lula” Murphy, age 96, passed away peacefully August 4, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas. Born in Junco, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Adrian and Leandra Rivera Alexandrino. Lula is preceded in death by her husband, Fausto Caceres Murphy. She is survived by her daughters Leandra (Edwin) Melendez and Josefina (Luis) Valdes; her grandchildren, Adriana (Paul) Vlasic, Edwin Tomas Melendez and Luisa (Steven) Cortese. Lula is also survived by her great grandchildren Adam Paul Vlasic and Martha Ione “Mimi” Vlasic, her sister Aracelys Alexandrino Calderon, and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend her funeral mass, Thursday at 1:00pm at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5300 Old Howell Branch Rd, Winter Park, FL, followed by visitation at the Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral home Goldenrod Chapel, 7520 Aloma Avenue, Winter Park, FL from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00pm at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Winter Park, Florida.
