Pouran Amiri, 85, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on November 29, 2016. She was born on March 18, 1931 in Tehran, Iran to the late Buyck and Mariam Gandji. Pouran was a well traveled socialite who was fluent in multiple languages. She was known for her generosity and love for her family and pets. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Jahangir Djahandari and second husband, Ali Amiri. Survivors include her son, Aria Jim Djahandari and wife, Kelly (Christian) Djahandari and daughter, Aida Djahandari and husband, Aaron Sasson; brother, Djamshid Gandji and sister, Azar Saif; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A Memorial Celebration will take place from 2-4pm, Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Baldwin-Fairchild Ivanhoe, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando, FL 32804. Pouran’s final resting place will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park, FL. Condolences may be offered at - Baldwin-Fairchild Ivanhoe.
