ROBERT D. HATFIELD Born December 27, 1938 – Died October 26, 2016 Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Tommy Hatfield. He is survived by his wife Shelley, son Berry (Lisa), brother Jim, in addition to many loving family members and friends. After graduating from Durango High School in 1956, Bob earned a degree from Southern Methodist University. He was a stockbroker in New York, Paris, Orlando, and Durango, Colorado, where he served as Mayor from 1981 to 1982. Bob enjoyed hiking and boating at Electra Lake in Durango. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Monday, November 28, 2016, at All Saints Episcopal Church, 338 E. Lyman Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789. Internment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery, Durango, CO, at a later date. Donations in Bob’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s and Dementia Resource Center, 1506 Lake Highland Dr., Orlando, FL 32803.
