Sue Elizabeth Forsmoe, was born in Florence, S.C. on July 28, 1920 to Samuel F. and Alma Powers. She was one of 8 girls and moved to Orlando, FL with her family in 1959. She worked at Florida Hospital as a pharmacist for over 25 years until her retirement when she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shopping. She moved to Traces of Tiger in 2006 and resided there until September 2011 when she moved to Willow Gardens Personal Care Home in Toccoa, GA. Her loving husband of 37 years passed away on December 23, 2010.
She is survived by three daughters and one son. Jane Newlon of Rabun Gap, GA, Bill Young of Orlando, FL, Sandra Dickens of Tiger, GA, and Thelma Shrode of Apopka, FL. She had 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She will be laid to rest at Glen Haven Memorial Park on March 23, 2012.
