Thomas E. “Tommy” Jackson, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 to join the love of his life, Catherine Jackson, in heaven. He was born on December 20, 1920 in Bushnell, IL, to C. Ellis and Florence A. Jackson. Tommy graduated from Orlando High School and served his country in WWII in the United States Navy as an Airman 2nd Class until 1946, and was honorably discharged. He is survived by his niece Rhonda Neely (Harvey), great-nieces, Dr. Judi Wray (Derek), De Shay Hoffman, (Russ) AKA, Amber Filkins, and great-nephews Jason Neely, Clay Lilly, Zachary Wray, and SA Alexander Wray (US Navy). In celebration of Tommy’s life, services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, September 12th, 2014 at Baldwin-Fairchild Lake Ivanhoe Chapel.
