Virginia J. Walker

Virgina J. Walker, 93, of Altamonte Springs, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Virginia was born June 22, 1924 in Mt. Holly, NJ and moved to Central Florida in 1959. She delighted in raising her 4 children with husband Gordon while working full time for AT&T. After her retirement, Virginia enjoyed creative crafts and most especially time spent with her family.

She was predeceased by husband Gordon P Walker but leaves behind daughter Cynthia W. Tickle; 3 sons Timothy P. Walker (Susan Moore), William C. Walker (wife Sharon) and Edward A. Walker (wife Terri); grandchildren Amy Smith, Jodi Larson, Will Walker, Pam Walker, Larry Walker, and Blake Walker; great-grandchildren James Smith, Kirsti Outlan, Allie Smith, Kati Lundy and Indiana Walker; and great-great-grandchildren Rylynn and Charlotte Smith.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Baldwin Fairchild Ivanhoe Chapel, 301 NE Ivanhoe Blvd, Orlando 32804 (407) 898-8111. Virginia will be cremated and inurned in the columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC with her husband.
