July 16, 1939 – August 15, 2014

With Broken Hearts we announce that our darling Husband, Father, brother and Grandfather left us for the Spirit World to meet with his mother Isabelle Fisher (Foster), father Frederick Fisher, brother Robert Fisher,sister Marjorie Fisher, and brother-in-law Gilbert Asham (his best friend).

Leaving to mourn him are his wife of 36 years Lucy Fisher (Asham), his sister Donna (Max) Hockstetter; his children, Donald and Joe of B.C.; Jason of Alberta and his special and only daughter Michelle of Alberta; brother-in-law Glen (Cecila) Asham; twenty two grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; his very special adopted family from Manitoba; special grandson Redsky and many nieces and nephews from Pasqua First Nation and B.C.

My darling will be laid to rest at the Asham Family Cemetery, Pasqua First Nation.

A traditional wake will be held at his home, House # 4, Pasqua First nation on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. with the Traditional Funeral Service on Wednesday at his house at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Redsky officiating.

A traditional feast will be held following the interment service.

No flowers, if friends so desire contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 may be tokens of remembrance.
