Angus Robert Windigo

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Angus Robert Windigo (Wakinya Ghi Hokshina – Yellow Thunder Boy) on February 8, 2023 at the age of 43 years. Angus was born June 14, 1979 in Wolseley, SK

He was predeceased by his mother Karen; brother Christopher; maternal grandparents Joseph and Madeline Windigo; paternal grandparents Geraldine and Vincent Rider; cousins: Daniel James Spencer, Blue Rider and Bradley Runns; nephew Keenan Spencer; uncle Eugene Rider and aunt Alison Rider

Angus is survived by his sons: Akiva (Creedance), Joseph, Emilio, Christopher, Angus Jr., Vinnie and Spencer; his father Eugene (Lisa); brothers: Eugene Jr., Cary, Martin and Darren; sisters: Michelle, Chelsea and Sharla; grandchildren Keeves and Joanna; special aunts: Sandra Windigo, Candace, Dee and Cindy Spencer; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews from the Spencer/Rider, Ashdohonk and Windigo/Runns families.

Evening prayers were held in Tubman Funeral Home Chapel, Wolseley, Saskatchewan on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service was also held in Tubman Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Keith Rider officiating. Cremation followed with interment at a later date.
