On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, John Bertal Melvin, Wolseley, SK, died at the age of 93 years. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Tubman Funeral Home, Wolseley, on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Dolter officiating. Interment in the Wolseley Cemetery. Predeceased by his parents John and Mabel Melvin and his siblings: Frances and Wilbert Melvin, Evelyn Millar, Elburn, Walter, Ralph, and Ray Melvin. Bert is survived by his wife of of sixty-two years, Elaine; children: Roderick Melvin, Regina, Gwendolyn (Richard) Champagne, Maple Ridge, B.C. and Leslie (T.J.) O'Loughlin, Calgary; grandchildren: Lisa, Erin and Conor; one brother Harold (Ella) Melvin, Swift Current, SK and brother-in-law Roy (Betty) Chatterson, Regina.
