Carol was born in Grenfell on February 7th, 1948 and lived on the farm until her parents moved to Grenfell where she attended high school.
She married the love of her life, Dave in 1968. They started their life together in Regina and this is where their daughters were born. In 1979 they moved back to Grenfell when they purchased a general store which they ran together until their retirement in 2012. Carol was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was so very proud of family. Carol’s strength and positive outlook on life will forever be an example for us all to live by.
We would like to extend our gratitude towards the staff at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, the Pasqua hospital and the Grenfell Health Centre.
In memory of Carol, please extend a favor or an act of kindness to someone in your life.
A service of remembrance and celebration of life will be held in Grenfell United Church, Grenfell, SK on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jan Van Aertselaer and Shirley Schlamp officiating with a time of fellowship and lunch to follow in the Grenfell Community Hall.
