Funeral service will be held in the Sakimay Community Complex, Sakimay First Nation on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Glen Povey officiating. The wake will be held in the Sakimay Complex on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. Interment in Sakimay Cemetery with lunch to follow the burial.
Eric was predeceased by his grandparents Gordon and Georgina Kequahtooway and Clifford and Rosalie Sangwais; sisters Dana and Ruth Anne McKay; niece Monika McKay and stepfather Marshall McKay. He is survived by his wife Bonnie; mother Phyllis McKay; father Wallace (Florence) Alexson; children: Leeland (Donica), Daylen, Tyson (Brittany), Dara, Georgina (Travis), Raven (Kyle) and Bronson; nine grandchildren; sisters Tina (Cory) and Tanya and brothers: Donavon, Tabin (Brandy) and Avison (Charly).
