On Sunday, February 20, 2011, Fredrica Pearl “Freddie” Stanger (Boone), widow of Howard Stanger and Ed Boone, died at the age of 91 years. The funeral service will be held in St. Andrew’s United Church C. E. Center, Indian Head, SK., on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. With Rev. Suzanne Edgar officiating. Cremation with interment in the Indian Head Cemetery. Predeceased by her first husband, Ed Boone in 1962 and her second husband, Howard Stanger in 1990, her father, Stanley Hewson in 1981, her mother, Winnifred Hewson (Holden) in 1987 and one brother, Ben Hewson in 2003, Freddie is survived by her son, David (Vivian) Boone, Calgary, AB., her daughter, Kathy (Ron) Robb, Katepwa Lake, SK.; her grandchildren, Katie and Kristine Boone, Calgary, AB., and her sister-in-law, Margaret Hewson, Indian Head, SK., as well as her extended family of Boone’s, Hewson’s and Stanger’s.
