George Matthew Joseph Werner

The funeral service will be held in the Broadview Community Hall on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with James Graham officiating. An Interment will Follow the service at the Broadview Cemetery, A lunch and time for fellowship will follow the interment.

George was predeceased by his parents Floyd and Theresa Werner; one brother Frederick Werner in 1958 and his mother and father-in-law Sietse and Marion Rienks, his Brother-in-law Terry Schaaf in 1977 and his son-in-law Lyndon Lerat in 2013.

Besides his loving wife, Wendy, George is survived by two sons Cory (Cailly) Werner and their daughter Evie and Justin (Sadie) Werner; one daughter Jenny (Trevor) Lerat-Andres and their family: Kolten, Davyn, Breanna Emmah-Lee and Jaxson; brothers and sisters: Christine (Fred) Skinner, Dave (Janet) Werner, Dorothy (Keith) Hawken, Mike Werner, Stephen (Charlene) Werner and Pauline (Gord) Cambell; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gordon Rienks, Kathy (Patrick) McGuffin, Clayton (Candace) Rienks, Terry (Amanda) Rienks and Jason (Jennifer) Rienks and also his nieces and nephews.
