Helen is now reunited with her parents Lucien and Margaret Cormier.
She leaves to mourn her passing, sisters Mae and Linda (Denys); brother Joe (Judy). Helen is predeceased by her brother Ken (Rotten) and brother-in-law Frank.
Helen married William Wayne Grey in 1960 and they raised three children.
Brian (Yogi) is left to mourn his mother and his children: Hope Angelica, Penelope, Christian and Gareth were dearly loved by Helen.
Helen was predeceased by her son Gary Grey (Football) and his children: Jenna (Tanner), Dylan (Hannah), Celeste and Chelynne (Steven); and Gary’s eight grandchildren were greatly loved by Helen.
Helen was predeceased by her daughter Jackie-Lee. Jackie's children: Robert, Jackson, Travis, Bella and Wellesley Jr. and Jackie’s seven grandchildren, will be watched over from above by Helen.
Helen’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren lit up her life with visits, hugs, funny stories and the little drawings and mementos they gifted her.
She had many dear friends that became her extended family. Helen was active in community events in her hometown of Sintaluta and surrounding area. She connected easily with others, and spread much laughter and cheer wherever she went.
Helen was very connected to the community of Carry the Kettle, where she will be forever remembered as “Teacher” to the many pre-K and kindergarten children whose lives she impacted.
Helen’s front door was always open and she accepted everyone as they were, without judgment.

A Celebration of Helen's life took place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in the Sintaluta Memorial Hall.
