Joel left this world peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.
Joel was predeceased by his parents Jerome and Violet (Walker) Ashdohonk; brothers Cyril and Elroy; sister Charlotte; nephews Jeremy, Greg, Pallid and Farron; maternal grandparents Dennis and Maggie Walker; paternal grandparents John and Annie Ashdohonk.
He is survived by his companion Brenda; brother Burns; sisters Audrey (Noel) and Connie; children Kristin ”Krissy”, Joellen (Jonah), Amanda (Bryce), Bronson (Michelle), Lindell and his special grandchildren Marazhu, Sadie, Silas, Nicholas, Lance, Lacey, Johnny, Stella, Chenoa, Xavier and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held in the C. T. K. Band Hall on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bernice Saulteaux and Tim Poitras officiating.
A wake will be held at his residence on Sunday evening commencing at 4:00 p.m. According to custom, the family requests that no children attend the wake, please.
