Kayla Delina Runns

Kayla was predeceased by her parents Harvey Huntinghawk and Delina Runns; paternal grandfather Robert (Bobby) Shingoose; maternal grandparents Earl and Marion Runns; uncles Orville Runns and Pernell Runns; siblings: Harvey Runns Jr., Marvin Runns and Sheila Runns and cousins Scott Runns and Andrew Runns.

Kayla is survived by her children: Ariah and her father BJ, Kaylee and Roza and their father Jamie; biological brother Nathaniel Runns; half siblings: Elijah Allary, Koby Runns and numerous other siblings; nieces and nephews: J’Kobi LaRiviere, N’rayah Desjarlais-Runns and Liam Taypotat; grandmother Vera Huntinghawk-Shingoose; uncles: Shannon Huntinghawk, Kenneth Huntinghawk, Everett Runns and Keith Runns; aunts: Sherri Huntinghawk, Pearleen Runns-Ishmal (Arly) and Lori Runns. She is also survived by Chrissie who she took as a second mom; cousins/brothers Brian Runns and Michael Runns and the many other family members too numerous to name and the many friends throughout her life.

Kayla will always be remembered for her smile, unforgettable laugh and undying love for her family, relatives and friends. Kayla will be forever in our hearts and thoughts. As she begins her journey, we shall have comfort that she will be welcomed into the arms of her parents and all those who have gone before her.

The wake will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carry The Kettle Community Hall. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., with Michelle Thomson and Donnell Thomson officiating. The burial will take place in the South Cemetery.
