The funeral service will be held in Carry the Kettle Band Hall on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 commencing at 11:00 a.m. with officiants Clyde and Joe O'Watch. A wake will be held Monday, December 5 in the band hall starting at 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the Tuesday service with interment at a later date.

She was predeceased by her parents, Rueben and Lucy (nee Goodvoice) Ryder; two brothers, Rodrick and Ervin Ryder; and is survived by her partner, Garry Bellegarde; a son, Shawn (Wendy) Francis; a daughter, Marnie Francis; a sister, Madeline Eashappie; and three grandchildren, Emmet and Susanna Francis, Ava Freeman; stepchildren, Trudy Bellegarde and Garry (Clarissa) Bellegarde Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; along with an extended family - adopted mother, Cora Thomson and her family; adopted brothers, Floyd Ryder and Mike McNab; an adopted son, Raymond (Virginia) Desnomie; nephew, Tim Eashappie and family; special sidekick, Mae O'Watch and family.
