

Murray was born in Grenfell, Saskatchewan on July 8, 1953 and spent his life in the area farming. He always had a love of horses and cattle and embraced the country life. He worked at various dairy farms as a young man and had his own farm for many years where he ran a feedlot. He spent whatever extra time he was allowed to pursue his passion for riding horses. He was always a cowboy at heart. After a lengthy illness, he moved to Broadview, where he again settled on a small farm and continued his devotion in agriculture until his passing.
Murray is survived by his brother Ron Wolfe; sisters: Joan Haylock (Lawrence), Marlene Johnston (Jim) and Judy le Roux (Eric) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Murray was preceded in death by his father Jacob Wolfe; mother Ida Wolfe; brother Herb Wolfe; sisters Joyce Naujok and Gladys Nolan; brothers-in-law: Horst Naujok, Bob Nolan and Lloyd Johnston and sisters-in-law Margaret Wolfe and Eunice Wolfe.
A graveside service was held in the Poplar Grove United Church Cemetery, South of Broadview, SK on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with Shirley Schlamp officiating. Directions to the cemetery: travel south of Oakshela to township road #160, then travel 7 km east; NW32-15-5-W2.
