Paul "Haul" Gilewicz

Paul was born on January 12, 1950. He was a world wide travelled hair stylist. Paul lived for many years in Regina and Headingley, Manitoba before moving to Vancouver.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Peter and Alexandra Gilewicz; brother Myron Gilewicz; nieces Rhonda Johnston and Tammy Wright and nephew Nicholas Gilewicz.

He is survived by his brothers Terry (Sharon) and Dave (Cindy); sister-in-law Elaine; nephews: Travis, Michael, Adam and Joey; niece Dayna, also his great nephews, nieces and many cousins.

It is with broken hearts that family and friends announce the passing of Paul “Haul” Eugene Gilewicz on September 23, 2024 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Haul was extra ordinary, colorful, kind and loving. He was a talented, world renowned hairstylist. His passion for hair lead him to every success. He cherished his clients, friends and family dearly and always took time to tell you how much he loved and cared for you. His style and flare were outstanding. He always had time for mischief, laughing and chatting with anyone. He loved life, the arts, music, dancing, travelling and gardening.

A public come and go visitation was held in the Chapel of Tubman Funeral Home, Wolseley, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
