She is welcomed home to the spirit world as the direct granddaughter of Chief Carry The Kettle; the daughter of James and Birdie Thomson; her brothers before her: Edwin, Kenneth, Glenn, Nelson and Gordon; her sisters before her: Bessie and Thelma. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved sons Jason Thomson and family; daughters: Jaidyn and Zoey; sons Seth and Morgan; her beloved daughter Jan Thomson and family; sons Zack and Riley; her helpful loving nephew Morty Saulteaux; her loving brothers: W.S. Thomson (Cora), Cecil Thomson (Kathleen), Church Thomson (Rhonda); her loving sisters: Wilma Kennedy, Vi Krause (Bob), Bonnie Thomson, Sharon Thomson. Auntie Dolly also leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She provided a caring and protective wing to blanket many of her nephews, nieces, grandchildren and traditional adopted relatives with special care and her strong spirit. We love and honor her. The wake will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carry The Kettle Band Hall. The funeral service will be Monday, September 2, 3013 at 11:00 a.m., also in the band hall.
