Reinhold was predeceased by parents Jacob and Julia, brother Fred; sisters Clara Hennig and Helen Gattinger.
He is survived and dearly missed by his wife Christine Madeley; son Jason (Lisa), grandchildren Avery and Cole, son Christopher (Debbie); as well as Christine’s extended family.
Reinhold was born, raised and spent his entire life in Wolseley. In his younger years he enjoyed playing ball for Poplar Grove, tracking down balls in center field. He took over the family farm from his dad in 1968 and over the next 40+ years continued growing a variety of crops and raising cattle until he retired. Whether it was the tractor or truck trips to town, Dad was often kept company by, our pet dog, Shadow.
Dad loved raising cattle over the years no matter how much time and work they took, whether he had to fix fence through the creek or through the many bushes year after year, he always enjoyed seeing the cattle on the farm.
If the farm wasn’t enough to keep Dad busy, he held a variety of positions in town; secretary on the Co-op Board for 25 years, caretaker for the senior units for 20 years as well as serving on the Credit Union Board.
Later in life, Dad enjoyed travelling to Cuba, and spending time in Arizona & Texas during the winter.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society,1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.
