On Friday, September 18, 2015, Ruth Anne (Poochie) McKay, Sakimay First Nation and late of Regina, SK died at the age of 39 years.
The funeral service will be held in the Sakimay Community Complex, Sakimay First Nation on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Glen Povey and Ron Quewezance officiating.
Interment in Sakimay Cemetery with lunch to follow the burial.
The wake will be held in the Sakimay Complex, Monday at 4:00 p.m.
Ruth Anne was predeceased by her grandparents Gordon and Georgina Kequahtooway, James and Agnes McKay; her father Marshall McKay; sons, Dayleese Peigan and Ashton Gambler, daughter Monika McKay and one sister Dana McKay.
She is survived by her partner Kelly Gambler; her mother Phyllis McKay; her daughters: Tashina and Chereese McKay and Aretha Gambler; her grandson Alex Lee Bear; her brothers Eric (Bonnie) Kequahtooway, Avison (Charlie) McKay, Donovan Kequahtooway and Tabin (Brandy) McKay; her sisters, Tina (Cory) Perkins and Tanya Kequahtooway, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
