Ruth is survived by her children: Lee Ann, Colmin (Wanda) and Trever (Donna); grandchildren: Justin (Jessica), Jenna (Daimon), Michael (Bailey), Meghan (Dan), Melissa (Alex), Travis and Taylor and great-grandchildren: Alice and Andy, Eastyn, Rhetly and Hayes, Payton, Henry and Jack.
Mom (Grandma) will be deeply missed, forever remembered and always celebrated.
Her memory lives on with her brothers and sisters along with their families, many generations of nieces and nephews, as well as close and dear friends. A good family get together was something she always looked forward to whether it was a small gathering for morning coffee, a family celebration to play cards or a full-blown family reunion.
Ruth spent many years living on the farm, always ready to plant a new garden in the spring and preserve the bounty from her hard work. She loved to grow flowers; her flowerbeds were always bright and colorful especially with an abundance of lilies and roses. Ruth was avid quilter, forever completing a project for someone. One of her favorite past times over the years was photography to capture and create images for her greeting cards and scrapbooks. Many have been the recipient of the beautiful work she created.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that expressions of sympathy be made through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The celebration of life will be held in the St. James C.E. Centre, Wolseley, Saskatchewan on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will be held.
