Shawna Lynn Panipekeesick-Sangwais

Shawna was predeceased by her baby boy Marc, her mother Cynthia, Kokum Emma, paternal grandfather John Allen Goodwill, paternal grandmother Caroline Marion Goodwill (nee Sanderson), granddaughter Iscis, brother/cousin Jeremy, and uncle Lloyd.

Shawna leaves to mourn, but also be lovingly remembered by her loving partner Lloyd, her father Floyd, her children: Steven (Sasha), Alissa (Nathon), Delaney, Earl and Joshua; sisters: Tara (Charles), Lesley, Lindsey, Jennifer (Roy), Rebecca and Caroline; brother Floyd Jr. (Lorrie) brother/cousin Arden, special aunty Doris, her nieces whom often all referred to her as second mom, Emmarae, Desiree, Taneaka and Sierra; nephews: Keagan, Kip, Felix and AJ; grandsons: Parker, Hunter and Isaac; granddaughter Brealynn (Aka her lil’ Sunbeam), special grandkids: Ashlynn, Kali and Cohen; special sisters-in-law Carol (Brian) and Connie (Blair) and special nieces: Shannon, Amber, Janel and Kyra; daughter-in –law Nataiya; uncles: Gilbert (Lynn) and Doug; aunties Patty and Shelley (Lonny). Shawna had a very large family with too many others to mention.

The wake was held in Zagime Anishinabek Community Complex on Wednesday, April 4, 2023 at 4:00 p.m.

The funeral service was at the same location on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Elders: Alvin Kaye and David Wick. Interment was in Zagime United Church Cemetery.
