Stanley Thomas Iles Dec. 24, 1931 Sept. 23, 2010 With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Stanley Thomas Iles of Regina at the age of 78. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a loyal friend. A man with a strong work ethic, cheerful disposition and always on the go; he loved dancing, photography, flying, RV travelling, and belonged to many clubs and organizations. He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Mary Iles. He is mourned by Elaine, his loving wife of 55 years, his daughters Judith Silverthorne of Regina and Darlene Ellis of New Zealand, and his sons Darrell (Diane) Iles of Regina and Barry (Pamela) Iles of White City, as well as his granddaughters Michelle (Scott) Tremblay and their family Emma and Tyson (Saskatoon); Christine Culbert (Lyndon Stopanski ) and family Kelsey, Elaina, Michael (Regina); Amanda Iles (Regina); Amie Iles (Derek Eskowich) and their family Damien, Cole, Jayden, Brooke (Margo); Tayla Ellis, Zara Ellis, Shania Ellis (all of Auckland, New Zealand) and his grandsons, Aaron Silverthorne (Regina) and Grant Hawes (White City) and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 4 Ave North in Regina, officiated by Pastor Terry Defoe on Wednesday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch at the church will be immediately after the service, where there will be a chance for friends to share a few words. Interment will follow at approx 3:00 pm at Moffat Cemetery, 14 km south of Wolseley on Grid 617. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tubman's Funeral Home, Wolseley, SK, 1-800-667-8962.
