Willene was born July 1, 1975 in Regina, SK.
Our dearest Willene was predeceased by her sister, Carmen Stevenson, maternal grandfather, William S. Thomson, her maternal great-grandparents, James and Birdie Thomson and Hector and Lena Eashappie. As well as her paternal great-grandparents, John and Emerance Stevenson, grandfather Bob Stevenson, her auntie’s Debbie Thomson, Lynda Francis and uncle Danny Sornsen.
She leaves to mourn her parents Greg and Brenda Stevenson, brother Golden, special nephews, Ian, Kamden, Golden Jr., Malachi; Grandmothers Cora Thomson and Theresa Stevenson. Her aunts and uncles: Barb (Bernie), Tina (Terry), Gwen (Stan), Sheryl, Kim (Denby), Joy (Dave) and Lenora (Floyd), Garry Bellegarde, Connie BigEagle, and uncle Dave Stevenson, in addition to numerous cousins and friends.
A wake will be held in the Tubman Funeral Home, Wolseley, SK., on Thursday, January 4th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, January 5th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Carry the Kettle Band Hall with Pastor Brig Judy officiating. Interment will be in the South Cemetery.
