Charles Wesley Shultzabarger Jr.

Charles "Chuck" Wesley Shultzabarger Jr., age 77, of Maplewood, Minnesota passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023. He was born in Belleville, Illinois on August 5, 1945; and he marrie Valerie Dueber on November 26, 1983. Valerie died on May 6, 2023.

Chuck is also preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marjorie.

Chuck is survived by his sister, Janet Shultzabarger of Woodbury, MN, his good friend Jack Wittlich of Wichita, KS; and several cousins throughout the United States.

Chuck was a Vietnam veteran and went on to graduate from the University of Illinois. Following his graduation he worked at Kent State University, then the Red Cross in Chicago, and finally the Department of Defense in Minnesota in recruiting and certification of medical personnel. Chuck continued to advocate for veteran services after his retirement.

He will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery with his wife in a private ceremony. Memorials may be made to the veteran services.
