Chris was born in Hancock, MI and raised in Houghton, MI. She worked for the Upper Peninsula Power Company, Bombardier in Duluth and close to twenty years at 3M finishing up with the executive staff. She met and married Dick in 1968 in Houghton, MI while he served in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Calumet Air Force Station. She moved to Duluth after getting married, then to Oakdale and over thirty years in Cottage Grove. A special thanks to the people at Minnesota Oncology of Maplewood; the Gables Care Center at Boutwells Landing; the INR nurses at Aspen Bandana Square who all helped me on my final journey.
