Preceded in death by his parents, Harold C. and Edna Olson. Don will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years, Sharon; 3 daughters, Kari, Susie and Jane (Keith) Bohler; grandson, Morgan and granddaughter, Sophia; sisters, Aileen (Warren) Johnson, Mary Gray, Linda (Robert) Albert and Chris (Larry) Hebert; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Don was born and raised in Two Harbors, MN and he went on to graduate from the U of MN with a Masters in Structural Engineering. During his career he was an award winning bridge designer and spent many years developing a sustainable concrete building system. He most recently worked for 17 years for the City of Minneapolis as a Plan Inspector. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to HealthEast Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. with a Gathering of Family & Friends at 10 a.m. at WULFF Woodbury Funeral Home 2195 Woodlane Drive in Woodbury. Private Family Interment.
