He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Louise (Michling) Acker; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.
Ev is survived by his wife, Gloria, of St. Paul, MN; 2 sons, Sean (Jenna) and Shane (Sibyl Wickersheimer-Acker) Acker; 4 grandchildren, Lily, Wesley, Olive, and Otto; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; and his beloved dog, Cassie.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Wulff Funeral Home in Woodbury, MN at 11 am, with a gathering one hour prior.
Private burial with military honors at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
