Gene Allen Johnson

Preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Doris; daughter, Peggy Wagner; parents, Miles and Clara; brother, Lloyd (Bobbie).

Survived by his children, Stewart (Ann), Scott (Julie), and Chip (Molly); ten grandchildren, Jessie (Matt), Erik, Bjorn (Amanda), Peter (Michelle), Brett (Carrie), Ben (Danielle), Kari, Nick, Adam, and Ryan; nine great-grandchildren, Lily, Leo, Jake, Lincoln, Graham, Elaina, Wyatt, Boston, and Melisse; son-in-law, Gary Wagner; brother, Wally (Doris).

Gene was a teacher and baseball coach at Edina High School for 37 years. He was an artist and enjoyed yard work and taking family vacations.

A private family service will take place. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
