We had the pleasure of working with Gordy in ISD 622 for many years - first at the DEC and Harmony Learning Center - and lastly at Tartan High School.  We enjoyed his daily visits and entertaining stories, particularly his military and outdoor adventures, and enjoyed teasing him about when was he going to FINALLY tie the knot with Rosie:).  It occurs to us, upon viewing Gordy’s photos and film, that he lived an incredibly full and rich life in the years he was given.  We will remember Gordy, purely and simply, as a good man.  He lived the good life he deserved and he lived it well, his love for his family is clearly evident, he is truly loved by all who knew him in ISD 622 and will be missed.  Love and peace to beloved family and friends - may warm memories heal your hearts - fly high, Gordy, and rest peacefully<3..

I worked with Gordy at ISD 622.  He was a warm and respectful guy who would go out of his way to help his coworkers out.  I always enjoyed his fishing stories and weekend plans.  He will be missed at work and I'm sure with his friends and family.  



Gordy was an amazing man, father and friend. I pray that he is fishing in Heaven right now! We love you!

My memories go way back to Albemarle Street.  So lucky to have had a pack of cousins next-door!

While I don't have a lot of memories with Gordy, I will never forget how he made me feel. Looking at him, I saw bright, beautiful blue eyes and an inviting warm smile- the exact same feeling I get when I think about his doppelganger, Jeff! His friendly spirit will be missed and my heart hurts tremendously for my cousins and all those hurting.

Words can't express the grief that is brought on by loosing my uncle. He was the best uncle a girl could ever ask for. He was such a huge part of my life growing up. Having spent so much time with our family, I could never just pic a few favorite memories that stand out.
 All I can say is that I will always remember his laugh and how much fun we had when we were all together.  It was just constant jokes, silliness, tears of laughter followed by sore stomach muscles. In my adult years he was more of a father figure, always wishing me happy holidays, birthdays and words of wisdom. I am so grateful  for all the late nights and bonfires. These are memories I will never forget.
Uncle Gordy was simply loved by all and will never be forgotten.
