Jeffrey Hughes King

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the loss of a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Jeffrey Hughes King passed on Feb, 10 2022 at 6:20 pm in Woodbury, Minnesota at the age of 72.

Life gifted him with travel and he lived in many places around the globe. During the many travels with his own family he always enjoyed taking the “scenic route.” As such, his life was very much a mirror of this, where it was not only about the destination but also about how you got there and all the memories you made along the way. His affinity for creating memories was apparent in the many videos he made and the collections he had.

Music was central to his being, and he wanted to spread his passion to the world through collecting, selling, disc jockeying, making playlists and discussing his favorites with friends, family, and strangers alike.

He enjoyed reliving his childhood memories through the eyes of his grandchildren. He loved playing games, watching “old” cartoons and movies, drawing, and exchanging bad “dad” jokes with them.

He is survived by his wife Christine, daughter Diana (Wayne), sons; Jonathan (Connie) and Matthew, grandchildren; Cade, Evie, Payton and Colton, sister Susan, nephew Christon (Liz) and great-nephew Henrik.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to Second Harvest.
