

He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He married Deanna Podd in 1958 and they raised their six children in Oakdale. He retired in 1996 after 34 years of service with Land O’Lakes. Joe embraced every day with gusto and gratitude. He loved his life, loved to laugh, he dearly loved his family and many cherished friends, and he never missed the opportunity to show it. He found joy in everything and he had a special gift for bringing joy to others.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Clara, his sisters, Clara and Rita, and his wife Deanna.
Joe was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by his children, Paul (Jodi) Neuman; Maureen (Craig) Falzone; Julie (Dan) Hopkins; Mike (Mary Jo) Neuman, Brad (Jennifer) Neuman, Shelly (Chad) Brandt; 10 Grandchildren, Kara, Brandon, Tyler, Frank, Chelsey, Samantha, Bo, Jack, Alexandra, Olivia; 11 Great Grandchildren; siblings, Terry, Joan, Mary, Larry and Louise and their wonderful families.
A service and celebration of Joe’s life is planned for August 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM, visitation beginning at 1:00pm at Wulff Woodbury Funeral Home.
